How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their photographer 9–18 months in advance, especially for popular dates and peak wedding seasons. Once your venue and date are secured, I recommend reaching out so we can see if your date is available.
How do we reserve our date?
Once we’ve decided your wedding photography is the right fit, your date is officially reserved with a signed contract and retainer. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. While I’m based in Eastern Nebraska and regularly photograph weddings throughout Omaha, Lincoln and across Nebraska, I’m happy to travel for weddings throughout the Midwest and beyond. If your celebration takes me somewhere new, let’s talk about it!
Why are engagement sessions important?
Engagement sessions are a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, spend time together without the pressure of your wedding day, and create images that reflect your relationship. They’re also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and learn how you naturally interact, so your wedding photography feels even more comfortable and personal.
We are awkward in photos- can you help?
Absolutely! You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I'll guide you throughout the experience with natural prompts and direction, while leaving plenty of room for the genuine moments to happen. My goal is for your photos to feel like you, not like you're posing for a photo shoot.
How do we know how much coverage we need?
I'll help you build a custom timeline and recommend coverage based on your plans, priorities, and the moments that matter most. Together, we'll make sure there's enough time to capture your day without feeling rushed.
